Post by Sparky »

it freezes and keeps spamming this message
cant remember all of it :p i porbably should have wrote it down hehe
something like "text chunk is to big"
and i couldnt get out without force reseting my comp
im sure its not the wad, it used to work with older versions of zdoom

it seems the other cobra wads do this too

That message is part of the DEHACKED parser. It seems that these WADs contain a buggy DEHACKED patch.

Well, it looks like the guy who compiled this WAD didn't bother to put a compliant DEHACKED lump in. In short, it contains some stuff at the end that Legacy apparently can handle even though it has no place there. You can safely remove it because all it contains are altered level names.

this makes sence
i got the wads from jives site
he works on making wads gl-legacy friendly
but still, it shouldnt be doing this. as it used to work in zdoom
unless randy recently broke what ever it was that made it work

thanks for the help :p
