Actually, it requires TFT because of it's size (256x256)

EDIT:
Started making heroes.

Forgive the names, they're custom Mountain King and Priestess of the Moon units which haven't had their available names changed.

More bathroom goodness!
Spoiler:
The toilet was remodeled again! It's not a big deal though because I'm already comfortable with modeling; the latest incarnation took only 20 minutes from scratch.

I'm quite happy with the texturing... the previous painting jobs were very rushed but I took my time with this one.

I'm quite certain now nash, you have some sort of fetish with being in the bathroom :P

What was wrong with the previous toilet?

It didn't have the flusher or the pipe, and now the texturing looks waaaay better.

What Xutawoo said. Plus I've been playing Silent Hill 3 a lot recently and downloaded a level viewer to see how the levels were done, and that inspired me. And to be honest, the first three models looked too rushed.

I've also found a workflow that I'm really comfortable with and that which allows me to paint textures onto models photorealistically (well, almost).
yeah but it's still doom
I intend to push GZDoom to the limits with this mod I'm making. That means no low poly models...

While I'm not sure I'd be spending the time to redo that model yet again, I do admit this looks significantly better than the previous iterations.

Hehehe. I imagine most people would get sick after the first remodel. But I was just never satisfied with what I've created for the previous three models, and playing other commercial games just made me realize the kind of standard I have to aim when modeling in-game objects.

First person games always demand extra detail from the models because you're going to be able to view them really upclose.

Besides, the whole thing was a great learning process for me. With the workflow I've developed, I can pump tons of high quality props in no time.

What is this toilet for again? Whatever project needs this level of detail for toilets certainly catches my interest.

He's got my interest too, as long as we can blow them away to make funny fountains like in duke 3d. :P

By the way, did anyone notice that duke could actually DRINK from the toilet spray? What a sicko.

The water that goes into the toilet's cistern is in pretty much every case the exact same kind of water you'd get from the sink.

It's probably cleaner, too, given people aren't constantly dipping their grubby hands and faces in it...

Also, that toilet deserves to be a map of its own.
